I think it's been about three years since I last updated my desk setup. But I recently made some changes, which I'd like to share with you. The overall dark vibe of my previous setup has remained, but I've upgraded a few elements. See my 2022 workspace setup if you're curious.

The physical desk
Unlike my previous desk from L&Z Elements, my new desk was far simpler to source. It's the MITTZON adjustable standing desk from IKEA. I've wanted a standing desk for a long time, and most of them look the same, so I thought I'd just go with an affordable option that does the job well and invest more into other things. And the desk is actually decent. Admittedly, the finish of the tabletop is not at the same level as the L&Z Sinus table, but it's far more practical for me. And it's bigger, so it feels really spacious. I continued the black aesthetic because I think it contrasts really well with some of the metallic accessories I have yet blends well with others.

As for my desk chair, I'm still using the Physix Studio by Vitra, which I've been using for the past few years. Still holds up well.
The virtual desk
As always, my app dock is hidden by default and only pops up on mouse hover. This helps me focus better. The apps I use on the daily haven't changed much either. Typically, I'll use:
- Safari for browsing
- ChatGPT for general purpose discussion
- iA Writer for to-do lists, writing, and notes
- Dropbox + Paper for file storage and documentation
- Mac Mail for email (see my config)
- Photoshop for photo editing
- Figma for designing
- Telegram + Slack for comms
- Transmit for FTP client
- Visual Studio Code for coding
- Are.na for R&D
